Our mission is to have nationwide coverage of the SAR Flag to finally honor and forever remember those Veterans and Military lost to suicide.

Each day that we lose a Veteran or Military member to suicide is a day we must raise our continued awareness, until We End Veteran/Military suicide.

It’s not easy, but with your help we can change the perception of mental health, suicide, and seeking treatment in our common goal to save lives.

Suicide is preventable and mental health issues are treatable.

For those we lost, we will not forget.

And for those who live, we are with you, we see you, and you are not alone.

The SAR Flag (spoken as S-A-R) was created to honor and forever remember the Veterans and Active Military lost to the Veteran suicide epidemic, as well as to honor, respect, and unite their families.

The SAR Flag also stands as a tangible symbol of hope to living Veterans & Active Military to show that we care as a nation, and we care about preventing living Veterans/Military from becoming a part of the suicide epidemic, and to know that they are not alone.

Once the SAR Flag is approved by Congress, it will stand as symbol of our nation’s commitment to recognize and remember those Veterans & Military who died by suicide, further work on prevention, to End Veteran Suicide.
